About Us

    The Wiregrass Human Resource Management Association (WHRMA) members meet monthly to engage in, and discuss interesting and timely topics relevant to the human resource profession. These meetings are normally held on the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 AM and may feature a guest speaker, a panel discussion, or a legal round-table group. A buffet lunch starts at 11:30, the meeting and speaker start at 12:00.

    Each monthly meeting notice will list the location and cost.  Be sure to RSVP each month.  Members should watch for email reminders of the meetings about one week prior to the meeting. Reservations are made by emailing Marshal@lbaproperties.com at least three business days prior to the event. Current cost is $20 for members and $25 for guests.  

    The date for the 19th annual HR Forum event is November 14, 2018. This special day will  include speakers, exhibitors, handouts, door prizes, give-aways, and lunch. A downloadable form of the flyer along with registration forms for participants and vendors will be posted to the Forum page and will also be available at Meetings & Events.  Be sure to sign up soon!

    WHRMA has received the EXCEL Bronze Award for 2014.  Past awards include SHRM’s Membership Superstar, the Merit Award, and Superior Merit Award. The Chapter Champion was awarded in 2008.
