Clara Blitch, PHR, will be speaking on "Engagement and a Talent-Based Approach"

These days many employers are interested in learning about engagement as it has become quite the buzz word, but many will not invest in it.  Employee engagement has several prongs, one being how the employee feels about their work, and the other, how well the employee knows self and is able to interact with different personalities at work.  I believe a huge percentage of someone’s success goes along with whether or not they are able to understand self well enough to respond instead of reacting to everyday work situations.  The strengths based approach is one that helps individuals determine how to better expand their knowledge of how they come across, which arms us with valuable information and acts as a compass to guide reactions and responses.  Clara will go through the meaning of engagement and the talent understanding process.
